Drongos For Europe

Drongos for Europe are a birmingham based hardcore punk band. They formed in 1979 playing their first gig in November 79 at St Marks Church in Great Barr Birmingham. To this day their music is fresh, uncompromising, fast-paced, and sharp, this band are undeniably punk. They currently have two albums available "Hotline to Hades" and "Barcode Generation" which no punk album collection is complete without.

They also have a collection of singles available on cd as "Return of the Punk monster", a wide variety of vinyl and a good rack up of compilation features. The current line up is

• Danny - drums
• Ohmsy - guitar
• Tommy - Vocals
• Dek - bass

From the first time I saw this band live I've been hooked. The passion and sincerity this band has, combined with their musical ability means that no matter how many times you see them they never get old. This is real, genuine punk rock.
The Drongos are constantly playing live and without a doubt will probably be playing somewhere near you sometime soon so if you havent already seen them live (or even if you have!) get out to see them because this is one band not to be missed.
