Hi, how are you?

absolutely fantastic

How would you personally describe the band?

dive started out wen eddie an dan were at high school an were originally influenced by bands like nofx an the offspring, but now 7 years on dive have evolved into a much more hardcore and thrashyer band, and also as u can imagine in 7 years weve actually learnt how 2 play which helps immensly

How’d you come up with the name?

i have no idea its a pretty shit name but we cant exactly change it now, we were originally called penock which is prolly a much beta name but dive will do!!

If you were stranded on a desert island (and somehow had a music player available) what is the one album you'd want with you?

dr dre - 2001

How has the punk scene changed since you first started? Is it better/worse or just the same?

well we are the single most lazy band in the world and play very few gigs out of our home town of lichfield, but if anything the punk scene seems to be growing all the time, things can only get better.

Whats your favourite song to play live/favourite place to play live?

our favourite song to play is still townies are wankers, it was 1 of the first songs we wrote way back in school, an it means just as much now as it did then, exept townies are called chavs now. the best place to play is netherstowe youth club cuz unfortunatly were banned from everywher else in lichfield an were to lazy to try an get gigs outside of lichfield.

Tell the readers five facts about the band / band members they will not already know

1 - ther have been about 10 members in dive that have all been sacked
2 - jammal our new bassist is gay
3 - dive are 100% wilder than wild youth an jammal is 2 years younger.
4 - dan eddie and hallie played in a side project called the snuff superstars before dive reformed
5 - dive cam smoke more weed than any other band

You're prime minister for a day...what do you do?

legalise all drugs, infact make weed smoking compulsary, and make religion illigal an punishable by the death penalty live on the internet. then we will live in a world of peace an love

Plans, gigs and releases for the rest of 2008?

check out our new ep weve just recorded! its called bring out the dead! u can hear a copy of it on our myspace, its not amazing quality cuz we had to compress it abit to fit it on but ull get the general idea, we will b releasing the long overdue 2nd album hopefully this year an bring out the dead will b on that, but we still gotta write a few new tunes! apart from that this year well just b gettin wrecked an payin the odd gig here an there!
